Exercises outside the free list need full access. ### Basic level - **See far, stop in time** (`pedestrian`, road users): Pedestrians and crosswalks. A quiet urban street, a crosswalk in front of you. Pay attention to the sidewalks — the situation on the road can change in an instant. - **A little stop. Big decision.** (`stop`, Right of way): Stop sign at an intersection. Approach the stop sign. Stop before the line, look left and right, then continue only when safe. - **Read the intersection** (`light`, Right of way): Traffic lights and stop line. The traffic light is red. Adjust your speed, stop before the line and continue only when the traffic light is green and the intersection is clear. - **The right speed for the moment** (`speed`, vehicle control): Traffic slowdown zone. Start in a section with a 50 km/h limit. When the road is clear, accelerate gradually towards 50. A 30 sign is ahead: finish slowing down before it and observe the limit for the rest of the route. - **Left turn across oncoming traffic** (`left-across-traffic`, Right of way): Turn left at the junction into the side road. Check and signal left, slow down, and wait before crossing the opposing lane until oncoming traffic allows a safe turn. Finish in the right-hand lane and continue to the destination. - **Petrol-station exit** (`petrol-exit`, Right of way): Follow the exit sign. At marker 1, yield to pedestrians before crossing the sidewalk. Creep toward marker 2 before the road: check the rear mirror, look left and right and check blind spots, and signal right. Wait for a safe gap, recheck after waiting, then turn right into the right lane. Continue to the destination. - **Pulling away from the curb** (`curb-pull-away`, Parking and manoeuvres): You are parked at the right curb between two cars. Check the rear-view mirror and look left, signal left, and wait for the passing car. Pull out gently, straighten into the right-hand lane and continue to the destination. - **Mini-roundabout · second exit** (`mini-roundabout`, Right of way): Slow before the mini-roundabout, look left and give way to circulating traffic. Go counterclockwise around the painted circle and take the second exit, straight ahead. Keep off the circle. Signal right before exiting and continue to the destination. - **Car park exit · turn right** (`car-park-right`, Parking and manoeuvres): Leave the empty car park and turn right onto the quiet road. Slow before the pavement, check for pedestrians and traffic in both directions, signal right and join the right lane. The exercise ends on arrival. ### Medium level - **Green is not enough** (`blocked-junction`, Right of way): Blocked junction · green light. The light is green, but a queue blocks the junction exit. Stop before the line and wait until there is room for your entire car beyond the junction. As the queue moves, check again and proceed without blocking the junction. - **Look, signal, pass** (`lane`, vehicle control): Safe lane change. A parked car is blocking the right lane ahead. Check the mirror, signal left, and gradually move to the adjacent lane. - **Leave room to respond** (`following`, vehicle control): Following distance. Drive along a single-lane, one-way street with no room to overtake. The car ahead changes speed. Keep at least a two-second gap and slow down when it brakes. - **The way has changed** (`roadwork`, Road signs and road): Road works. Roadworks ahead, with a temporary 30 km/h limit. Cones separate the open lane on the right from workers and equipment on the left. Slow down, keep right and leave clearance. Cone contact is recorded and reduces your score; hitting a worker or equipment ends the exercise. - **You don't take risks on the train** (`railway`, Road signs and road): Railway crossing. The railway barrier is closed and the radio is on. Stop before the line and wait until the barrier opens and the lights go out. You may switch off the radio to listen; this exercise has no STOP sign, so switching it off is not a condition for passing. - **You see differently at night** (`night`, special conditions): Limited lighting and visibility. Evening fell on the street. Turn on lights, adjust your speed to 30 km/h in the exercise and prepare for the crosswalk. - **Who goes first?** (`yield`, Right of way): Giving way at an intersection. A give right of way sign is placed before the intersection. A vehicle crosses on the right. Slow down and wait until the crossing lane is clear. - **Keep a clear view in the rain** (`rain`, special conditions): Rain and wipers. Rain gets heavier along the route. Switch on lights and wipers before driving. Follow the car ahead with extra distance; rain intensifies after the second marker. - **See through the fog** (`fog`, special conditions): Fog lights and visibility. Thick fog covers the road. Switch on low beams and fog lights. Avoid high beams, slow down, and switch off fog lights as visibility improves near the end of the route. - **Light the way without dazzling** (`high-beams`, special conditions): High beams on a dark road. On the unlit road, switch on high beams when the road is clear. When an oncoming car appears, dip your headlights. Restore high beams after it passes, only if the road is clear. - **Stop, switch off and listen** (`railway-stop`, Road signs and road): Ungated railway crossing with a STOP sign. An ungated railway crossing with a STOP sign is ahead. The radio is on: stop before the line, switch off the radio, open the driver’s window and listen. Look both ways along the tracks and continue only when no train is approaching and the crossing is clear. - **The tram turns across the road** (`tram-shared-lane`, road users): Tram beside your lane · Left turn. A tram travels on a separate lane to your right, then turns left across the road ahead. Stay in the car lane, slow down and stop before the line at red. Wait until every carriage clears the road and your light is green, then continue straight to the destination. - **Across the bus lane to the gas station** (`bus-lane`, Turns and lanes): City public transport lane. The gas station is on the right, across a bus-only lane. Drive in the general lane, check the right mirror and signal before the entrance. A bus leaves its stop and approaches on your right: slow down and wait in your lane until it passes. Check again and turn right through the marked entrance, cross the bus lane and stop in the destination box at the station. - **Keep the tracks clear** (`light-rail`, Road signs and road): Light rail at a city junction. Light rail tracks cross the junction. Slow down and stop before the line at red. After the tram passes, your signal turns green but the exit is still blocked. Wait until there is room for your entire car beyond the tracks, check the junction, then continue straight without stopping on the tracks. - **Parked car and oncoming traffic** (`double-parked`, road users): A double-parked car blocks your lane. Slow down and wait for oncoming traffic to pass before moving left. Check your left mirror and blind spot, signal and pass the car. Once clear, check right, signal and return to the right lane. Continue to the marked destination. - **A door opens ahead** (`opening-door`, road users): A parked car door opens and a person steps into the road. Slow down early and prepare to stop. Oncoming traffic prevents a safe swerve. Wait until the person and door clear your lane, then proceed carefully and continue to the marked destination. - **Vehicle leaving parking** (`parking-exit`, road users): A vehicle reverses out of parking and blocks your lane. Practise responding to another driver's mistake: slow down and let the vehicle complete its manoeuvre. Continue only after it clears your path, keeping a safe following distance. Continue to the marked destination. - **Cyclist in the roundabout** (`roundabout-cyclist`, road users): Approach the roundabout, look left and give way to the cyclist already circulating. Enter only when there is a safe gap. Follow the route around the island to the opposite exit, signal right before exiting and continue to the marked destination. - **Cyclist on your right before turning** (`cyclist-right`, road users): You need to turn right while a cyclist is travelling on your right. Check your right mirror and blind spot, slow down and signal. Wait before turning until the cyclist clears your turning path, then turn behind them without cutting across their path. Continue to the marked destination. - **Give way to the vehicle on your right** (`right-priority`, Right of way): Approach an intersection without traffic lights, Stop signs or Give Way signs. A vehicle approaches from your right and crosses your path. Slow down, check both directions and let it pass before entering. Continue straight only when the road is clear. The mission ends on arrival at the marked destination. - **Give way to the car in the roundabout** (`roundabout-car`, Right of way): Approach a roundabout with sign 303 at its entrance. A car is already circulating inside. Look left, slow down and let it pass before entering. When the gap is safe, enter and follow the route to the opposite exit. Check right and signal before exiting. The mission ends on arrival at the marked destination. - **Manoeuvring playground · cone course** (`cone-playground`, Start here): Four manoeuvring stations: drive through the three slalom gates, complete a tight right turn, stop in the preparation box and reverse into bay R, then drive forward and stop in the finish box. Follow the highlighted gate, drive at walking pace and leave space around the cones. Parking and finishing require a two-second stop with the whole car inside the box. - **Multi-lane roundabout · first exit** (`roundabout-first`, Right of way): Choose the right approach lane as signed for exit 1. Look left and wait for a gap in circulating traffic. Stay in the outer lane, signal right and take the first exit. Do not cut directly across from the inner lane. - **Divided road to two-way road** (`dual-to-single`, Road signs and road): The right lane continues while the left lane ends. Further ahead, the central separation ends and the road becomes two-way. Stay right, read the lane-ending and two-way traffic signs, and watch for oncoming traffic across the centre line. - **Winding road · blind bends** (`winding-road`, Road signs and road): A winding two-way road with rocks and vegetation obscuring bends, and oncoming traffic. Stay right of the centre line and slow before blind bends. The exercise target in bends is at most 25 km/h even though the posted limit is 40. Do not overtake through a blind bend. - **Solid line · stay behind** (`overtake-solid`, Turns and lanes): A slow vehicle is ahead and a solid centre line separates the traffic directions. Do not cross the line to overtake, even when the opposite lane looks clear. Match your speed to the vehicle, keep at least a two-second gap in this exercise’s good conditions, and follow it to the destination. - **Broken line · overtake when clear** (`overtake-broken`, Turns and lanes): A slow vehicle is ahead and the centre line is broken. An oncoming vehicle is approaching: wait behind the slow vehicle. When visibility and the gap allow you to overtake and return safely, check mirrors and the blind spot, signal left and overtake without exceeding 50 km/h. Pass the entire vehicle, build a gap, check, signal right and return to your lane. - **T-junction · turn onto the main road** (`t-junction-major`, Right of way): At this T-junction, your road ends at a main road. Sign 301 requires you to give way to traffic from both directions. Slow before the line, look left and right, signal left and turn into the right-hand lane in your new direction when there is a safe gap. You need not stop if the way is clear. ### Advanced level - **Clearing the way for life** (`emergency`, special conditions): Approaching emergency vehicle. An ambulance approaches from behind with flashing lights and a siren. Check your mirror, signal and move to a safe space near the right edge. Stop and wait until it passes. Use the gap between parked cars or another clear space on the right; there is no required stopping point. - **also control the descent** (`downhill`, special conditions): Steep descent and engine braking. Select B before the descent and stay at or below 30 km/h in this exercise, using engine braking and the brakes as needed. - **Breakdown: stop safely** (`breakdown`, special conditions): Emergency stop and hazard lights. An engine temperature warning appears while driving. Slow down gradually, check the rear mirror and right side, and signal right before entering the marked lay-by. Stop fully inside it and switch on hazard lights. - **Morning in the neighborhood** (`city-school`, Urban tasks): City mission · school run. Slow down when entering the school zone. A parked car may hide a child running into the road. Follow the surroundings, be ready to brake and wait until the road is clear. - **A U-turn in the right place** (`uturn`, Turns and lanes): You need to head back in the opposite direction. The first junction has a No U-turn sign: continue straight. At the next junction there is no prohibition and visibility is clear. Stay in the single lane for your direction beside the median, slow down, check mirrors and blind spots, and signal left. Wait before the line for green and for the oncoming car to pass; also check for pedestrians and cyclists. When clear, make a slow, continuous U-turn around the end of the median, straighten into the opposite-direction lane, cancel the signal and continue to the marked destination. - **Busy multi-lane roundabout · Third exit** (`roundabout-multilane`, Turns and lanes): This roundabout has two lanes and four arms. Take exit 3, to the left. Follow the exercise’s lane sign and approach in the left lane. Look left and wait patiently for a safe gap in both circulating lanes. Enter the inner lane and pass exits 1 and 2. After exit 2, check the right mirror and blind spot, signal right, yield to traffic in the outer lane and move into it gradually. Take exit 3 from the outer lane only. If changing lanes is unsafe, go around again. The mission ends on arrival; no precise stop is needed. - **Motorway merge** (`motorway-merge`, Road signs and road): Join the motorway from an acceleration lane on the right. Accelerate gradually, check the mirror and look left, then signal left. Yield to traffic in the receiving lane, choose a safe gap and merge before the acceleration lane ends. Stay in the right-hand lane to the destination. - **Car park exit · turn left** (`car-park-left`, Parking and manoeuvres): Leave the car park by turning left across both directions of traffic. Third, the bay is behind you: check behind and reverse carefully back into it. Continue only after the other car has passed. - **Overtake a cyclist and truck** (`country-overtake`, Road signs and road): A cyclist and a slow truck are ahead on a two-way road. Wait until oncoming traffic allows a safe overtake. Check, signal left and enter the opposing lane only where the centre line is broken. Leave at least 1.5 m beside the cyclist as this exercise's safety target, and return right with a safe gap after each pass. - **Roadworks · contraflow** (`contraflow`, Road signs and road): Roadworks close your carriageway. Follow signs and cones left through the median opening into a temporary lane on the opposite carriageway. Oncoming traffic runs alongside beyond the cones. Keep to 30 km/h or less, do not overtake, and return right through the marked crossover after the works. Cone contact costs points. - **Signal-controlled T-junction · turn left** (`signal-t-left`, Right of way): Turn left from the main road into the side arm of a signal-controlled T-junction. Stop on red. In this exercise's signal program, a circular green also permits oncoming traffic: give way to it. Turn through the permitted opening and settle in the right lane in your new direction. - **Mountain pass · climb, crest and descent** (`mountain-pass`, Turns and lanes): Climb a two-way road to a crest that hides the road ahead. Slow before the crest, keep right and select B before descending. The descent warning reminds you to use a low gear and avoid prolonged braking. Take the hairpin at no more than 25 km/h in this exercise, keeping right of oncoming traffic. - **Overtake a cyclist, then turn right** (`cyclist-pass-turn`, Turns and lanes): Overtake on the left with at least 1.5 m of side clearance. Before returning right, leave 9 m between the rear of your car and the front of the bicycle. Before turning right, leave 12 m and at least 6 seconds before the cyclist reaches the junction; if the cyclist is close, wait before turning until they pass. Before each maneuver, check the rear mirror, look toward the maneuver and signal. Use the mirror/look buttons or X and Z / C within 10 seconds before starting; check again before turning. These distances and times are exercise targets, not legal thresholds. - **One-way route · lane choice and exit** (`one-way-route`, Turns and lanes): Turn left into the one-way road, following its sign and white arrows. For the next left turn, check adjacent traffic, signal and move into the left lane. Turn into the two-way road, keeping right and allowing for oncoming traffic. Choose the appropriate lane for each section. - **Urban lane closure · merge with traffic** (`urban-lane-closure`, Turns and lanes): A lane-reduction sign and road arrows warn that the right lane closes for works. Traffic is using the left lane: check your mirror and blind spot, signal and give way before changing lanes. Avoid cones and workers. Check and signal again before returning to the reopened right lane. - **The complete drive · car park to motorway** (`full-drive`, Urban tasks): A continuous route from a car park through a roundabout, stop junction and motorway on-ramp. Keep right on the motorway, take the exit lane and finish parked in the marked bay. Read advance warnings before each decision. The final report gives feedback on each maneuver; only the final parking requires a precise two-second stop. ### General level - **First drive — learn the controls** (`controls-tutorial`, Start here): Learn the app’s controls in a spacious parking lot, with no time limit. Your score starts at 100: each contact with a parked car, and leaving the car park, costs 10 points. Try nine controls: forward driving, steering both ways, braking, reversing, both turn signals, side checks and the rear mirror. The checklist updates as you practice with a keyboard or touch controls. Parked cars and pedestrians are around the perimeter; the centre is clear for practice. Once you have tried all nine controls, the drive ends automatically and the exercise summary opens. - **Free drive in a changing town** (`free-town`, Start here): Explore a 10 × 10-block city with neighborhoods, schools, parks and hills, a market and pedestrian street, parking lots, a fuel station, a bus terminal and a railway. Open the city map and choose a place to visit. Meet vehicles, pedestrians and children; slow down near schools and yield at crossings. More than 20 sign types and working traffic lights guide the way. Free practice has no score or required destination.
